International standard organization (ISO) issued “ISO 22716: 2007” at Nov. 2007: Cosmetics-Good Manufacturing Practices. This standard provide for cosmetics manufacturer with: implementation guidance of production, control, storage, etc.. ISO 22716 cosmetic international standards specifies management requirement for cosmetics manufacturer; hardware requirement (workshop, work environment, and equipment), material purchasing and usage, sanitation and quality control during production, employee sanitation, product testing, handling of quality nonconformity, and complaint and recall, etc.. On April 21st, 2011, EU official report issued “EN ISO 22716: Cosmetic--Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP)-Guidelines on Good Manufacturing ” (ISO 22716: 2007), and it has come officially into effect among 27 member of European Union(including Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) as national law.
